Rec Gravel

We're thrilled to invite you to our recreational gravel ride, designed with inclusivity and fun at its heart. Here's what you can expect:

A 100% no-drop policy: We ride as a group, at a pace that everyone can enjoy. We'll regroup after hills and at turns, ensuring no one gets left behind.

Introducing gravel in style: This ride is all about introducing club members to the thrill of gravel riding. It's a perfect chance to dip your tires into the world of gravel without feeling overwhelmed.

Modest pace, big adventure: The main group will ride at a pace just below 20 kph. If you're comfortable with our Learn to Group Ride or Recreational rides, you'll feel right at home. Our goal? To complete the ride in less than two hours, covering around 30 to 40 kilometres (a bit longer on the weekend). It's not about the speed, it's about the journey and the company.

Social stops: As the route allows (typically longer rides like those on weekends), we'll make short stops for refreshments. It's a great chance to catch your breath, refuel, and chat with fellow riders.

Don't miss out: Come and see what all the buzz is about. Gravel riding is more than just a ride, it's an experience. Join us and let's make some gravel memories together!

The Gravel Culture page provides a summary of the culture to expect on the various gravel rides.

See you on the ride!
